How can I keep from Singing – that’s the theme for the Maroondah Singers Annual Concert on Sunday September 10 at the beautiful Auburn Uniting Church at 81 Oxley Road, Hawthorn.

This special occasion is a wonderful opportunity for the choir to perform again in one of best musical spaces in Melbourne and for the audience to enjoy the full richness of our sound.

Musical director Lyn Henshall will lead the choir through a wonderful program, rich in the variety synonymous with the Maroondah Singers and ranging from gospel to inspirational and classical.

The audience will also again savour the blossoming talent of James Emerson as soloist and the artistry of John Atwell as accompanist/Guest Artist. A major highlight will be John, as one of the world’s leading theatre organists, playing the church’s historic organ built and installed in 1889 by the Melbourne firm of Fincham and Hobday.

Tickets are at the door (credit card facility available) for $30 (Adults), $25 (Concession) and free (under 12). For further details call 0422 050 323 or email maroondahsingers@maroondahsingers.org.au
