Maroondah Singers have completed the final rehearsals for their 2016 Annual Concert. What a great program we have for our audience, such a marvellous array of melodies. The program is most engaging in terms of the variety of acts with nuanced choral pieces interspersed with ensemble vocal numbers alongside piano and vocal solos. Our tireless accompanist, John Atwell, never leaves the stage.  He is always playing something whether accompanying the choir or playing a solo.  He is also assisted by accompanist Patrice Marshall on our new Yamaha Keyboard for several of the pieces.

Our scholarship singer, Lyndon Green, will once again give us beautiful renditions of classical and G & S numbers. This time he sheds his wandering minstrel garb and becomes the very model of a modern Major General. He also sings the rousing Anthem from Chess with the choir.

Chorister and soloist, Nadia Migliardi, performs the popular favourite, Time to Say Goodbye with Lyndon. She will also perform the glorious Barcarolle (lovely night) with two other choristers, Samantha & Wendy. And, to top it all off, another lively piece, the Bold Gendarmes, will be performed by two of our basses, Carsten & Ray. Our musical team have truly excelled themselves this time. This is a concert not to be missed.
